On Working
As of Saturday I will have started my first job. Retail. Yay. But still, it's money, and it should be an educating experience. And I'm really excited actually. I now have something productive to do with the rest of my summer! it's funny... just earlier today I was complaining about how pointless my existence is right now. (See "A Picture of an octopus...") I have 1 thing less to complain about now. That's a good thing.

Hi, AJ! I am so excited about your site, your art, and especially your poetry.
Congrats on the job; I pray it will go well. I have done a lot of retail work in the past, so I know the upside and downside. I am actually liking admin. specialist postion now better. (But then, I missed out on college, which I hope you won't.) It was by my own choice. I wanted more than anything to be a mom, and I have been, am, always will be. It's great knowing you are a part of my family, that I can say, "Oh, yes, I know her! She is one special young lady." And I think I will get to know you better through your blog than ever, since we are so very far apart. May God bless you and use you in His work, in His plan.
